About Me!
My name is Arden and I am an opera singer originally from Oklahoma, now living in the bay area!

Born in Nacogdoches, Texas, I moved up to Oklahoma with my family at age five. My parents signed me up for voice lessons at age eight and a children's musical theatre program at age nine. I found the place where I belonged, and I pursued musical theatre all the way to the collegiate level. It was what I thought I loved until...
I gave my required classical junior recital! While preparing for it, I found a voice I never knew I had and a drama I never knew could exist within music! I absolutely fell in love and knew that opera was the path I had to follow, there was nothing else for me.

I graduated from Oklahoma City University with my bachelor's in musical theatre in the spring of 2023 and have now received my masters in opera performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music this past spring.
Now...
I am based in the bay area, teaching, singing, and spending time with friends and chosen family. I visit my Oklahoma family often and feel supported to pursue my dreams.

Other than music, my life revolves around my pets, trying desperately to learn Italian and ice cream. I thought I would throw in some vulnerability at the end.
